 I started considering myself an athlete when I was in middle school, playing field hockey and running track. I went on to earn a scholarship to run at a Division 1 school in DC and was coached by Olympians and trained alongside elite athletes. In 2011 I started CrossFit and saw huge gains in strength and speed, which translated to faster times in the half marathon (PR 1:33), the 5K (PR19:54), and two sub 4 marathons.

I believe speed-work combined with CrossFit made me a faster and more focused athlete. The running class I teach is all about fun and speed on the track. It's very hard to get motivated to run quickly and actually see how fast you can go when you're alone. The running class is all about coming together to run intervals that will get your fast twitch muscles firing. It doesn't matter how fast you run right now, you will get a great workout and learn how to turn it up a notch in my class!
