I became a coach because CrossFit changed my life and I want to help others do the same. Because of CrossFit I am more confident, stronger, better at my job, happier, and have all the friends! I love being able to help athletes achieve their goals and love doing life with my fellow CrossFit addicts!

Maxing out at 235lbs, the word athlete was never something I heard early on in life. It was not until junior year of college when the light bulb turned on and I decided to make a change. I found Crossfit in 2009, it was love after first squat-clean! I love Crossfit because of the community and for the positive habits it has helped me to establish. From increased confidence and positive self-image, to healthier lifestyle habits, CrossFit was the catalyst I needed to take me where I have always wanted to go.

I became a CrossFit coach because I'm obsessed with the idea of building community through health and fitness. I love watching athletes rally behind each other on a daily basis. At ECCF, I'm constantly inspired by the things our members can accomplish when they support each other as people, and as athletes. Sharing in those accomplishments is the best part of my day.

I became a coach because I wanted to share my belief that CrossFit is for everyone. I believe fitness is a life long goal that involves showing up and doing what you can in the gym on a regular basis. I love helping athletes see what they are capable of both in and out of the gym.

As a coach, I really enjoy guiding people through the process of setting goals, helping them work toward those goals, and celebrating with them when they overcome barriers to achieve success. The greatest reward in coaching is seeing people excited about something they have just accomplished. As a coach, I hope to empower others to define and pursue their goals, so, like me, they can realize what they never thought possible, while still having fun.

I became a coach because it is a way for me to give back. If I can give you the best hour of your day, then I am doing my job right. I love CrossFit because it is play for adults. The goal in life is to be able to move and play with future kids and grandkids. Functional fitness is a way for me to stay on this earth as long as possible.

I became a CrossFit coach because I love to see people empower themselves. CrossFit opens the door for people to understand how strong and capable they are, and the community and environment that CrossFit fosters creates just this.

The best thing about CrossFit for me is that I get to feel like, and be coached as, a real athlete. We are pushed to our limits and we get better. We celebrate each other’s victories and support each other through our challenges. With becoming a coach myself, I am truly living my dream job. It is so inspiring to see people surprise themselves with what they can accomplish when they are surrounded by people who believe in them.

Meg gayman- running coach

I became a coach to help people realize their potential. It's rare as adults that we can safely test our limits the way we used to as kids. Being a coach brings me the joy of seeing someone figure out that their body can achieve a first pull-up, string double-unders together or run their fastest mile. It's rewarding to help people dig deep and find out what their minds and bodies can do to reach personal goals. The partnership of coaching members through their improvements is motivating and contagious.
